Originals on Canvas

The calligraphy on canvas looks deceptively simple. However, to obtain the smooth lines I want for some presentations, I need to paint over both the Chinese and English words three times to get the deep black finish.  If I overpaint, or underpaint a section, I have to paint that section again or the difference in depth will show.
